10 things I never worried about before I had a baby

Before having a baby, there were so many things I didn't think twice about. Like what time I went to bed, because coffee. Or how many glasses of wine I had in a given evening. Because coffee.
After kids, I now care so much more about MOST things including (some would say obsessively) the cleanliness of our home. For instance, pre-baby, shoes inside were welcome. I mean, they make an outfit! Now, I ask people to remove their shoes -- no matter how cute they are -- practically before their feet hit the doormat.
Here are 10 more things that are suddenly top-of-mind:
1. How often I change bedding. Clearly you can?t let spit-up sheets go unwashed for a month.
2. If our bathtub is getting grimy enough to make Joanna Gaines blush. But now I bathe my precious kiddos in there! 3. Where I put my purse when I go out in public. Now I realize that if I place it on a restroom floor, whatever was on there can easily be transferred to my kitchen counter, and my child?s hands and mouth. Shudder.
4. How dirty that kitchen counter is. Before kids, I didn't always think about it. Now" It's a mandatory, three times a day cleaning.
5. Replacing sponges before they begin to smell like feet. Because, ewwwww.
6. What my microwave looks like on the inside. It?s got to be less repulsive than the Upside Down realm from Stranger Things.
7. Expiration dates. Yeah, those are kind of important when you're responsible for the health of little people.
