I love seeing babies who think they are grownups. My 4-year-old daughter told me she can't wait until I get old so she can be me and gets to do all the fun mommy things. I don't know why there is such an allure to growing up and getting to scrub toilets and pay bills, but it's there. It's so cute to see babies pushing a grocery cart or trying to fix something with a screwdriver.
Children love to imitate adults! As a child I remember using gum to make myself "braces" and keeping a fake calendar in my backpack to write down all my important appointments. In case you're wondering, those appointments included spying on my big brother and trying to build a fort in my backyard.
My middle child is such a little grandma, even at 4 years old. She carries gum in her purse in case any of her friends need a piece and she always packs her own snacks and drink when we go out on an adventure. I always joke that she's 4 going on 40 and she really is! These 12 babies who think they are grownups will make you smile. Check them out:
