12 Days of Cookies: Butterscotch Caramel Pretzel Cookies
by Lindsay Weiss posted in Life & Home
Confession: Butterscotch is my favorite type of "chip" (as in chocolate chip). I can eat an entire bag of those butterscotch chips in one setting and not even break a sweat. They are just so much more flavorful than any other type of chip and when you put them in cookies" Game over. So good.
My absolute most pinned recipe of all time is these Chocolate Chip Caramel Pretzel Cookies. They also happen to be my family's favorite cookie. The other night I was devouring a bag of butterscotch chips while watching The Voice and it dawned on me (right as Billy Gilman wailed out a killer version of Celine Dion's "I Surrender"), WHY COULDN'T I PUT BUTTERSCOTCH CHIPS IN OUR FAVORITE COOKIE"""
I'd like to thank Billy Gilman for this vision. This inspiration. Because these cookies with butterscotch, caramel and pretzel" I surrender, indeed.
