12 Days of Cookies: Swirled Peanut Butter Cup Bark
by Lindsay Weiss posted in Life & Home
My husband calls this peanut butter cup crack. I'm not gonna lie to you -- this stuff will be responsible for at least half of my holiday weight gain.
So good. So pretty. So easy.
If you can melt two things and swirl them together, you are gonna love this recipe. I'll warn you it doesn't make a huge batch, so if you're feeding a crowd, double it immediately. (And use a larger pan -- like 11x13.)
Go for the best chocolate you can find in your grocery store because there are only two real ingredients here, folks. Chocolate and peanut butter are the stars, so make that chocolate the good stuff.
Because we're using real chocolate here (and not the almond bark/candy melt stuff), it doesn't get quite as hard when it sets. It's still firm enough to bite into, but won't be quite as hard as the bark you're used to. I think it's worth it to have the real chocolate taste, but if you're not a fan you can use the chocolate almond bark. It has lots of shortening and stuff added to make sure it's super hard. (When I use real chocolate, I store this in the fridge so it stays nice and hard.) Looking for more Sweets and Eats for the Whole Family" Find Lindsay at Sugar Mama.
