13 slacker habits I'll blame on pregnancy exhaustion

As I enter my second trimester, thank the blessed Lord my nausea has eased up. Eased up. Not disappeared. And while on some days I can sense that my energy is returning, on other days, like today, I feel so exhausted I'm convinced someone is going to mistake me for a zombie and take me out Walking Dead-style.
I mean, I. Am. So. Tired. I just want to cry. Then curl up in a ball and friggin' die. Not in a forever way. Just until I can walk from the kitchen to the couch without feeling like a body double from Weekend at Bernie's.
In fact, pregnancy has made me so bone-tired, so lifeless, so blood-sucked, and drained of every motivated cell in my body, that it's driven me to:
1. Feel genuine concern that I should refrain from operating heavy machinery, A.K.A. my SUV. 2. Fall to a sentence completion rate of 40 percent. I honestly don't even have the energy to finish what...
3. Forget whether my daughter has ballet today. We'll know for sure when we get there.
4. Say "yes" to whatever my kids ask because I'm too tired to argue with them. "Sure you can have an eighth cookie."
5. Start looking forward to going to bed at night, by 9:30 in the morning.
6. Skip showering for days on end.
7. Let my husband watch Swamp Monsters without even protesting.
8. Stop walking my dog. Literally. I didn't even get mad at her when she peed in the house the other day. I was like, "Good for you!"
