15 pounds of spaghetti, a bathtub, and one amazing grandma
by Sara McGinnis posted in Parenting
Apparently there's a phenomenon in existence known as a "bathtub challenge." I'd never heard of it until this morning, but 5-year-old Dresden is all over it. When his grandma caught wind that her little guy wanted to take part in the craze, she got to work.
A quick search tells me you can fill your bathtub in a variety of ways. There's one with Jell-O, a cheese balls edition, and  even a Nutella video. But for Patricia, Dresden's proud grandma, rainbow spaghetti seemed the right way to go. After purchasing and prepping 15 pounds of noodles, she put them in plastic bags with food coloring.
So fun!
So gross.
Ahhhh, my brain can't even decide.
But that sure looks like one seriously happy kid.
Brandon, who is Dresden's father, said his son was absolutely thrilled by Grandma Patricia's efforts. "He spent over an hour in there giggling, then got out and giggled for another hour," Brandon added on Reddit.
While it was convenient for this mess to be made at Grandma's house, Brandon told Buzzfeed he "probably would done it for him have if he asked, but I don?t think that we would have done as good of a job. That takes a grandma."
And the cleanup" "It only took about 10 minutes," Brandon said. "She had blocked the drain, so she just had to scoop it out."
Noodless to say, the whole thing reminds me of this:
If Dresden's grandma used 15 pounds of pasta, how much do you think Patch Ada...
