3 common label myths: Making choices without losing your mind

Last week, I was at Target and wanted to buy baby wash. My mind raced as I stalked up and down the aisles, reading labels. My logical brain said ?It?s BABY BODY WASH. Just pick one already!? Then my emotional, guilt-ridden mom brain went on: ?Do I have to buy organic or risk being a horrible mother" What does all-natural mean, exactly" Someone just tell me what to do!?
I have always been a decisive person. Making informed decisions quickly without overthinking has always been my thing -- until I became a mom. That?s when I realized that my decisions no longer affect only me, they affect the lives of other humans. It?s a lot of pressure to be sure.
With that said, between researching crazy ingredients I can barely understand to navigating the relevance of labels like "organic," "all-natural," "no preservatives," and more, it?s just become overwhelming.
So, for all you parents out there, I did a little homework to help me navigate what I call "label overload," and I found some myths I want to share with parents like me.
Myth #1: Organic actually means something. I have a tad bit of hippie in me, so this is one that used to really get me. Do you ever buy organic out of guilt" I used to automatically assume organic was better for my kids.
