3 things I learned after leaving my baby for the first time

Leaving your baby for the first time can be fairly traumatic, and if you recall, I was just the slightest bit anxious about it! I just returned home from my time away, and I learned a few things about the whole experience I wasn't expecting.
It?s all about the people you leave behind
I?m very fortunate to live within easy driving distance of both sets of grandparents who were more than happy to help with the baby while I was gone. During the day while my husband was at work, my baby boy was spending his time getting hugs from his grandmas, what could be better than that"
Proof that he can drool on Grammie just as easily as he can drool on me.
I?m glad that over the past few months my husband and I have made an effort to let our son spend time alone with his grandparents, so not only is he used to them, but they?re used to him too! There were no long lists of instructions on feedings or routines, everyone pretty much knew what to do already. This meant much less time spent worrying on my end, and a lot more fun and play for everyone else!
It took me no time at all to re-acclimate to my pre-mom life
I really thought I?d have terrible anxiety leaving for my trip, and even the entire time I was there. I did get a little teary driving away from my parents? house after dropping the baby off, but really, the next few days were so filled with activity (and some really nice down-time), I never felt sad again! I really enjoyed every seco...
