4 pregnancy habits I should have carried into my postpartum life

I was the model mama both times I was pregnant. I ate healthy food, made sure I exercised, and never missed a doctor's appointment. Of course, I didn't have a choice. My blood sugar would spike if I ate donuts or drank soda, and I would feel like I was about to pass out, but still I did what I was supposed to do!
As soon as those babies were born, though, all of my good habits went out the window.
I went back to coffee loaded with sugar and cream instead of the herbal tea I had finally gotten used to. Instead of taking walks to get my blood pumping, I would catch up on my favorite shows while the baby napped. The worst habit I fell back into was letting a daily donut replace the protein-rich breakfast that I had when I was pregnant. While being pregnant wasn't easy for me at all, at least I was forced to take better care of myself. I jumped back into my old ways far too fast because it was easy. Spoiler alert: eating sugary carbs and not exercising didn't do me any favors.
In addition to going to back to sugar and caffeine, there are a few more unhealthy habits that I went back to way too fast. I don't want you to make the same mistakes I did, so take heed.
1. I drank less water.
When I was pregnant, I kept a water bottle with me at all times. Staying hydrated was my #1 goal. Of course, once I could go back to coffee and wine and juice, everything else became my drink of choice. Unfortunately, that led to some constipation issues, which...
