5 festive and fabulous holiday mocktails

Oh. My. Goodness. My kids loved being taste testers for this post. I had forgotten how special they feel when they get a beautiful drink in a special grown up glass! There are lots of ways to make mocktails fun and festive, even without the booze. Your kids will love helping you mix up these refreshments, especially creating the layered ones. Serve them in special glasses to make the kids' table feel like a real party.
Here are five festive and fabulous mocktails we dreamed up at our house (recipes are all right here):
1. Holiday Shirley Temple: Who can resist a Shirley Temple" This mocktail delivers the traditional Shirley Temple flavor with a stunning layered presentation. The key is pouring the grenadine in last, after you've combined the Sprite and orange juice in the glass. It sinks to the bottom due to the denser sugar content, and the result is a showstopper!
2. Baby Bellini: A perfect bubbly mocktail for a special holiday toast. This one looks gorgeous in a tall champagne flute (consider tall plastic flutes for the kids). You'll find peach nectar in the juice aisle of most well-stocked grocery stores.
3. Red, Green & White Delight: This drink is all about the festive layers. It works because the beverage with the highest sugar content is at the bottom and the one with no sugar is at the top.
