5 things pregnant women worry about that are actually safe

The moment I saw my big fat positive, I was elated. Then I had about 100 questions: What should or shouldn't I be eating" Can I still exercise" Will I finally have to kick my caffeine habit" I wanted to do everything in my power to protect my little bean. But I wasn't quite sure what that meant for my lifestyle.
If you are trying to conceive or have recently found out you're expecting, here are five things pregnant women worry about that are actually safe:
1)Â Taking baths:Â Good news, moms-to-be: You don't have to give up your relaxing soaks in the tub. As long as the water isn't too hot, taking baths while pregnant is completely fine. You should avoid soaking in water hot enough to raise your body temperature higher than 102.2 degrees Fahrenheit for more than 10 minutes -- which is uncomfortably hot for most people anyway. Do mind that temperature though, because too-hot baths can induce dizziness and weakness, a drop in blood pressure (which could deprive your baby of oxygen and nutrients and make a miscarriage more likely), as well as birth defects, particularly in the first trimester.
2)Â Weight lifting:Â Active women will be pleased to know they don't have to stop hitting the gym -- so long as they stay within certain limits and their healthcare provider gives them the go-ahead.
