5 things you need to remember when preparing for a baby...again

Last summer, I was in one of those let's-get-rid-of-all-clutter moods and off went the baby items. I mean, I was positive we weren?t having any more kids. Three girls was the perfect number and my youngest, age 5, was heading off to kindergarten. FULL DAY of school!
Flash-forward to January when I got the biggest shock of them all: I was pregnant. Umm, now we had to gear up for a baby...again. After my cleaning spree of Summer 2016, there were two baby items left: a crib and an ancient highchair. Basically nothing since it was a drop-side crib, which is apparently a no-no now.
Mom-brain is REAL, my friends, and as we prepare for our July arrival, I?m getting a refresher course on everything. Umbilical cord...oh yeah, that?s a thing. Diapers...wait, how many will he need again" In 5 short years, I?ve developed a major case of mom-nesia about all things itty-bitty baby.
If you?re in the same boat, here are 5 things to remember:
Stock up every time you head to the store. In my head, I was thinking he would need like 4 diapers a day. Umm, no. Try 8-10. That wimpy pack of diapers will last about 4-5 days, TOPS.
Don?t forget to prepare for yourself, Mama! If you?re planning on nursing, you?ll need some comfy nursing bras and tops, plus bra liners which save you from those awkward moments in the grocery store when someone else?s kid starts crying and your body decides to flood.
