As much as I love heels, most of the shoes I wear on a daily basis while chasing kids around are flat. I call this section of my shoe shelves the "mom" section and it's grown pretty large in the last few years. This section has seen its share of uglies (man, I really loved those Fit Flops!) but I've trial-and-errored enough pairs to have some favorites that are cute, comfy, and functional.

One of my favorite fashion bloggers, Living in Yellow, introduced me to these and she was spot on. I wear these with almost every pair of skinny jeans I own, and the neutral sand color goes with every single thing I wear. Their best selling point, in my opinion, is how totally comfortable they are. I wear them all day long with no issues.
Nike Zoom Air Pegasus Lightweight Running Shoe These are my everyday shoes. If I don't have to go out with the kids, I'm in leggings and these shoes 24/7. They are super light but still provide great stability and cushion. I also exercise in these. I go through these shoes faster than any other pair. I love them so much, I would cry if they disappeared.
