6 super-easy Halloween costumes for babies

Halloween is just around the corner and whether you celebrate big or small, a costume is an essential. I always find myself hunting for last minute items to create a costume from nothing. Here are some fun ways you can pull together some cute looks for your baby's first Halloween.
Most of these costumes you should be able to make from items you have just lying round your home. Which is good because who has time to go to the store when you have a new baby to snuggle at home"
1. Cabbage Patch Kid
This one is my personal favorite because it was my oldest daughter's first Halloween costume. Here she is in her car seat looking oh so thrilled with a cabbage leaf stuck behind her back.
You'll need:
Yarn Hot glue gun (or just some glue - it's one night after all)
Headband (Amazon, $10.99)
Baby clothes
Optional, but fun an official Cabbage Patch doll certificate
Optional, but cute a Cabbage Patch T-Shirt (Amazon, 19.99)
There are DIY's on how to make a yarn wig or you can buy one (Etsy, $31.95 or Amazon, $12.99). I am not crazy enough to pull off a full blown wig, but I was happy with my simplified version. I just cut some yarn and hot glued it to a headband we had lying around.
