It's the quintessential dilemma of motherhood. The "firsts" (first steps, first words, first teeth) are so exciting, and yet as we snap photos and share them with anyone and everyone on social media, we wish the hands of time could stand still, even for a few moments. We love watching our kids grow and yet the growing happens too fast. We want to see them spread their wings and yet we don't want them to leave the embrace of our nest.

Here are a few tips to make the transition to sippy cup easier on everyone.
1. Timing is everything
Do you have any big family changes coming up, travel plans or just something that will shake up the routine" It may not be the best time to make the switch just yet, or at least make sure you have a good month of transition time with a new sippy cup beforehand. When other things in life seem less settled, kids cling to what they feel most comfortable with and brings them comfort, so give them the time they need to adjust to the cup.
2. Get prepared
