7 creative ways to document the first day of school

Taking photos on the first day of school is a growing trend that many families participate in. It?s a fun and exciting way to get the new school year off to a great start. However, why just take photos when you can use this opportunity to make a permanent record of the big day"
Here are six ways to document the first day of school using photos:
1. Take a photo holding a sign. On a chalkboard, dry erase board or construction paper write the date, the school year and first day of school. Then, take a photo of your child holding the sign. She can also write a special message on the bottom that says what she wishes the first day will be like, things she loves or what she wants to be when she grows up to make the first day of school even more memorable.
2. Use a balloon to document her first day. Write the first day of school on the balloon using a magic marker. Use a large balloon so you have plenty of room to write your message. You can also add the date, school year or any other message she wants to portray on this exciting first day of school.
3. Make a banner. Write the first day of school, the date and the school year on the banner or write a message to your child saying something like, ?have a great first day of school? along with the date. Have your child stand under it when taking the photograph.
