7 lazy parenting hacks that will help save your sanity

As a mom of three young children, I've picked up little tidbits of wisdom here and there to make things easier on myself. Call it lazy if you want. But the way I see it, anything that takes away even a little bit of daily stress is golden. Here are seven lazy parenting hacks that will help save your sanity:
1) On keeping your kiddos warm and safe in the car during the winter months. Answer: Ponchos. They don't compromise the effectiveness of a five-point harness or a seat belt and they help keep your little one comfortable on those frigid days before your car warms up. Plus, they're infinitely less annoying than taking off a puffy winter jacket every time your kid gets into the car -- and then having to stand out in the cold to put it back on before they get out.
2) On your house being taken over by useless stuffed animals. Don't buy them ... or at least get one of these. Allow me to introduce you to the stuffed animal "bean bag chair." It's an easy way to not have to pick up stuffed animals all of the time. Plus, it's useful; it's a win-win.
3) On traveling long distances in the car Three words: Car DVD Player. Trust me.
