7 most common, but super strange, pregnancy dreams

Because you don't have enough strange things happening to your mind and body already, let's go ahead and throw in some seriously messed up nighttime stories that will haunt you all the next day. I can't help you get the weird, often terrifying, images out of your head, but I can at least assure you you're not alone.
I had them, too. Many of us do. A combination of pregnancy hormones and the very real worries of how your life might change makes your brain go to some odd places while you sleep. Mine included losing my older child in a room full of pools where I was sure she had drowned, giving birth to a green Muppet, and a very racy dream involving John C. McGinley (please please don't try analyzing that one. It scares me). So, here are a few of the more common pregnancy dreams -- have you had any of them" 1.) Giving birth to something non-human. A lot of people dream about having puppies. I had a Muppet. It can be interpreted as a sign of anxiety, since we don't know anything about our babies yet. What will they look like" What will they act like" Suddenly all those horror movies where the mom gives birth to a demon or an alien seem like mayyyyybe they're not completely far-fetched.
2.) Putting your baby in danger. Using nothing more than my college semester of Psych 101, I'm going to say this stems from our nervousness about being in charge of a tiny, completely dependent human bein...
