7 movies to take the kids to this summer

My preschooler finished school this week. My elementary and middle school kids finish on Friday. The reality of what this means just hit me in the face and I'm staring blankly at my computer wondering how I can fill the days enrich their lives and provide a meaningful summer.
Movies. That's meaningful, right"
So instead of finding some Chinese immersion or Make-Your-Own-Foie-Gras camps, I did some intensive research on what movies I can take a nap in while my children are entertained. I promise to find them some other cool stuff to do, but I can guarantee that we will be at all seven of these screenings -- possibly more than once.
Because when it's 97 degrees and the kids are bored...there's nothing better than a movie (and a nap). Here's my kid-approved list of must-see movies:
1. Diary of a Wimpy Kid - The Long Haul (May 19; PG) If you have elementary age kids, they've likely already marked this one on your calendar. The infamous Greg (aka the "Wimpy Kid") is forced to go on a family road trip to his great-grandmother's birthday party, but he and his brother sneak off to a video game convention without their parents' knowledge.
2. Captain Underpants (June 2; PG) Also for the elementary set, two fourth-graders hypnotize their principal in order to transform him into Captain Underpants, the superhero from their homemade comic book.
3. Cars 3 (June 16; G) For EVERYONE (have I mentioned Cars is my favorite Disney movie&...
