There is so much to think about before heading to the hospital: birth plans, what to pack for yourself, what to even expect! It can be overwhelming, but don't forget about your significant other in all the furor.
When we had our fourth child a few weeks ago, I realized I dropped the ball on reminding my husband to pack some items for himself. It had been 6 years and, honestly, I barely remembered to pack my own hospital bag. But if you pass this list along, he can pack some items that will make the hospital stay easier for himself.
BONUS: Patience and compassion. Don't complain about how tired you are. Or how uncomfortable the sleeping situation is. Even if your wife cracked all of the bones in your hand during labor, zip it! She's going through it now...she will give you a side-eye.
