7 pregnancy milestones only a pregnant woman can understand

So, in my logical mind, I realize I still have about 14 weeks, 2 days, and 13 hours left of my pregnancy until my c-section (as of Sunday, November 12th). But, I can?t help but feel the end nearing as I recently experienced a major (and my absolute favorite) pregnancy milestone.

Listen. So yesterday I took a break from my usual go-to pregnancy snack (Cheetos) and went for something similar in color but slightly healthier -- carrots. Not because I was feeling particularly health conscious, but because I had just spent nearly $400 at the grocery store and the unopened bag of carrots from two trips ago were really bumming me out.
I un-enthusiastically rinsed the carrots and reached for the ranch dressing. Because, come on, we all know any vegetable is 1000 percent more bearable when dipped in a healthy amount of any dairy-based sauce. So, like I said, I grabbed the ranch and immediately checked the expiration date. I am diligent about doing this with all condiments because I have been burned way too many times, not realizing something is expired until after I have ingested half the container.
Again, I checked the container and instantly became way too excited because the expiration date was a whole two weeks past my c-section date.

Yes, this is my favorite pregnancy milestone: when foods -- especially dairy products -- start to expire after my baby?s expected arrival.
