We all start out with the best of intentions when taking a family Christmas card photo. Except, then, reality. Christmas card photo fails happen. Here are some hilarious fails to make you feel better about your own less-than-perfect holiday cards.
Take the Bishop family's card, for instance. Dad Cody swears he was "snapping" to get his little one's attention when this photo was taken.

Of course, babies never want to cooperate when it comes to taking Christmas card photos. Such was the case with the Ferdig family's card, featuring little Parker. This was only one of the images from their photo shoot, that didn't quite go as planned.

Parents Ben and Lindsey, who are in the process of trying to adopt again, can relate.
So can the Underwood family. At least one kiddo cooperated!

Here's my own Christmas card photo fail from a few years ago, when my 1-year-old daughter just wasn't going to smile, or even stop crying. No. Matter. What.

Meanwhile, even big kids don't always feel the Christmas card photo vibe, as was the case with Monica McLain Cox's family's card.

Edgardo Avitia's family's Christmas card from last year doesn't look like a fail at first. Except for the fact that friends mistakenly interpreted the props in the image as part of a pregnancy announcement. It wasn't meant to convey anything other than holiday cheer.
