A major WIN in our transition to solid food
by Adrienne Hodges posted in Products
We are currently on a quest for my daughter to eat more solid food.
For my daughter, solids are entertainment. She likes throwing and squishing and playing. She likes the independence of having her own chair, plate, and spoon. But woe to the person who tries to feed her with that spoon! She hates to be "fed," and no amount of airplane noises can change her mind.
So when I was asked to test-drive Gerber Grabbers with Smart Flow, I didn't know what to expect. I didn't know if my daughter would like the experience, I didn't know if she would like the taste, I basically had no idea if she'd eat these pouches at all.
I wanted to be prepared with options. Thankfully, Grabbers come in lots of yummy flavors, all made with real fruit (no artificial flavors, color, or sweeteners). I purchased Banana Blueberry, Apple Mango Strawberry, and Apple Sweet Potato, and crossed my fingers that one of them would tickle her tastebuds and entice her to eat independently. The first thing I noticed when I unscrewed the cap was the Grabbers' new Smart Flow spout. This feature claims to give toddlers more control and reduce mess. I am cautious about giving my daughter food that could potentially end up all over my floor, so I was anxious to know how well this feature worked. From the outside it looked simple enough -- an inner lip narrows the opening near the top of the spout -- but would it make a difference"
Thankfully, my daughter too...
