Since becoming a mom, actress Alyssa Milano has been a very outspoken advocate for breastfeeding moms.
The former Mistresses star, who has kids Milo, almost 5, and Elizabella, almost 2, has never shied away from voicing her unequivocal support, whether that means encouraging mothers to "break the internet" by sharing their favorite nursing photos or calling out a popular talk show host who suggested breastfeeding mothers should "go to the car" to feed their babies.
It comes as no surprise, then, that Alyssa been happily using her star status to promote World Breastfeeding Week. To celebrate the occasion, the 43-year-old mama has posted several throwback nursing selfies to Instagram over the past few days. (See them here!) Alyssa's posts have received plenty of responses from her almost 1 million followers, many of whom seem to be moms themselves.
"Beautiful and natural thank you for doing your part to normalize what should already be seen as normal. Anyone who doesn't agree should go eat in the bathroom themselves or with a blanket over their head," writes one fan.
Of course, not everyone loves a breastfeeding selfie (brelfie"). There were more than a few commenters who vowed to unfollow Alyssa thanks to the pictures. ("I'm gonna take a picture of my son eating broccoli. ..who cares"" reads one less than impressed response.)
