From sexy boudoir shoots to magical woodland scenes, expectant moms are getting very creative with their pregnancy photo themes these days.
The latest, and most spectacular, example" Glitter bath maternity pictures!
Australian photographer Melissa Jean stumbled upon the unlikely idea when she discovered a bag of glitter in her cupboard.
Having shot many, many floral bath maternity pictures, Melissa figured it was time to try something new. The result is just stunning.

"It was a last minute idea, with a bag a glitter I had in my storage cupboard," Melissa tells BabyCenter. "I wanted to celebrate her pregnancy in a unique way."
Having two daughters at home, I am pretty much an expert when it comes to glitter. It sometimes feels like every nook and cranny of my house is caked in the stuff, so I can only imagine the mess that was left after this photo shoot! But, Melissa insists that the mom-to-be in the photo -- who is a friend of hers -- didn't mind. "She is more than happy for all the mess it made in her bathroom," she says.
I don't blame her. What a unique and beautiful way to celebrate the baby on the way!
