Basket loads of candy-free ideas for Easter

We'll be traveling for spring break over Easter weekend this year. I honestly don't know how we are going to handle the basket situation: Will the bunny come to our condo or leave it at our house" Let me tell you, it's a huge topic of conversation at the dinner table, too.
I'm always looking for useful items to add to our Easter baskets that are not edible. Usually we keep the baskets under $30 per child and the Dollar Tree is my bestie. Hello coloring books, bubbles and more!

Here are some great ideas for baskets:
Think outdoor fun! Kites, chalk, jump ropes and bubbles are great options. We also love mini-construction cones from the Dollar Tree to make obstacle courses and bike paths outside on our sidewalks. If you live in a warmer climate or by the beach, consider pool or beach toys with a fun new beach towel.
Educational and fun! STEM toys are all the rage right now and my girls can't get enough of them. Look for educational options to keep your little ones busy through spring break. Botley, the coding robot, is our favorite right now.
