Not only is Take Heart, My Child dedicated to Ainsley's precious 1-year-old daughter, Hayden DuBose Proctor, but it was inspired by the author's father and his written messages of inspiration, life, and love.
Growing up, most days, Ainsley's dad would be the one to fix the family breakfast. Alongside the cereal bowls, he'd serve up a note: A quote, scripture or poem. Ainsley shares that the life lessons both her parents gifted her with "helped shape my life and inspired me to write this book." Back in May, I had the chance to meet Ainsley Earhardt. At the Fox News studio in New York City, co-author Katrina Epp and I were about to make our national TV debut on Fox & Friends sharing our book, Pour Me Some Wine: A Toast to the Mama Sisterhood. Naturally, we were nervous. Right before going live, Ainsley introduced herself.
