Birth control pills recalled for potentially pregnancy-causing packaging error

Millions of women use oral birth control to avoid an unwanted pregnancy. If your family is waiting to add more children, or if you're done having babies altogether, then you put a lot of trust in taking those tiny pills every day -- which is precisely why this recall is a kind of a big deal.

What you need to know
This recall includes lot L600518, Exp 05/18 of Mibelas 24 Fe tablets (Norethindrone Acetate and Ethinyl Estradiol 1 mg/0.02 mg chewable and ferrous fumarate 75 mg).

For users who are avoiding pregnancy for personal health reasons, or because other medications could be harmful to the mother or fetus, an unintended pregnancy could be dangerous and even fatal. Fortunately, there have been no reports of such adverse events.
What you should do
Lupin will notify distributors and customers with a recal...
