Body-shaming model is vilified, yet we celebrate other judgers

I'd never heard of a woman by the name of Dani Mathers until today, when word broke loud and large that she body-shamed a fellow gym-goer.
Dani, a Playboy model circa the May 2014 issue of the publication, atrociously violated another woman's privacy by taking a photo of her as she showered in the gym locker room -- and on top of that mocked her. In a Snapchat that was ultimately made publicly, the 29-year-old captioned the photo, "If I can?t unsee this, then you can't either!"
It's horrific.
As someone who's had to try mightily hard over the years to work up the nerve to workout and shower at the gym it's a worst nightmare come true. I am aghast at the idea a fellow female would take a (surely illegal) photo of another woman in the locker room in the first place, let alone share and ridicule it. Though most news outlets I've seen cover this story so far have blurred out the woman in Dani's photo, I can't help but imagine there is an aching soul somewhere out there tonight who knows it's her -- and she never, ever deserved to have her privacy violated this way. No person does.
Dani addressed the drama resulting from her Snapchat share, tweeting:
I just want to acknowledge a photo that I accidentally posted. It was absolutely wrong and not what I meant to do. I chose to do what I do for a living because I love the female body, and I know body shaming is wrong ... The photo was taken as part of a personal conversation with a ...
