Breast milk popsicles" Here's how to make them

If you've got a teething baby, I've got just the thing to help ease your little one's aching gums and cool her off this summer. Allow me to introduce to you the milksicle. (Also known as the momsicle or, simply breast milk popsicle.)
As the name suggests, it's an ice pop made from frozen breast milk -- and it's a great way for your baby or toddler to enjoy a nutritious treat without the added sugar or dyes. (Plus, I'm sure it hits the spot on a hot day.) Handing over a melting milksicle to an infant is guaranteed to be messy, but the results are pretty darn adorable. An Ohio mom named Tasia Blackwell has shown us this with a now-viral Facebook video of her son chowing down on one of his own. Seriously, go watch it. Isn't he just the cutest" I did some digging around, and it looks like moms in the BabyCenter Community have been making their own milksicles long before this adorable little guy went viral. Like Blackwell, some mamas whipped up these frozen treats using ice pop molds. Other BabyCenter moms came up with a clever variation: Fill ice cube trays with breast milk and then serve in a mesh feeder. I decided to try both methods for my 14-month-old daughter.
Step 1: Acquire fresh breast milk.
Step 2: Pour milk into an ice cube tray or an ice pop mold and freeze for at least 4 hours. Tip: If your baby isn't going to eat them right away, it's probably a good idea to transfer them into a storage bag to keep in the fr...
