Can Starbucks' Pink Drink really boost your milk supply"

Breastfeeding moms experiencing problems with their milk supply will try anything in hopes of giving it a boost. Special teas, herbs or lactation cookies are one thing -- but what about this Starbucks' drink moms are raving about"
It's called the Pink Drink, and, apparently, it tastes a lot like pink Starburst candy. This sweet, iced concoction is made from a combination of Starbucks' Strawberry Acai Refresher and a splash of coconut milk.
But does it work"
One mother -- who shared a photo of her milk-soaked shirt on the Milky Mamas Breastfeeding Support Facebook page -- claims the Pink Drink has increased her supply so drastically that she's worried she'll run out of freezer space to store milk. Others claim the drink has doubled their supply, or more. Others haven't noticed a change at all. BabyCenter blogger, Becky Vieira -- who just so happens to be lactating -- decided to give Starbucks' Pink Drink a whirl to see if it lived up to the hype. Here's what she had to say:
"It tastes like a bucket of milky sugar."
(Pro tip: If you're not a fan of the sweetness, try asking for the drink minus the strawberry and/or request it well-shaken.)
Although Becky obviously wasn't crazy about the taste, she said she did notice a difference in her milk supply that evening.
