Carrie Underwood's beautiful locks are missing quite a few inches all of a sudden, and the reason for the chop isn't solely because she was tired of long tresses.
Opening up about her new look, the mother of 1-year-oold Isiah Fisher recently told Elle, "Now that my hair is shorter, it's easier to fix, which was the whole point. Cutting my hair was a 'mom' move."
"I wash my hair every day and I know that's not great for it, but I work out and I sweat a lot so I need to, and I'm on stage and I sweat even more," the singer continued. "I could spend half an hour to blow it dry and have it be super long, or I could spend that time playing with my son, and I'd much rather do the latter."
Carrie Underwood, whose son celebrated his first birth at the end of February, went on to share, "Things have just definitely gotten simpler [since baby Isaiah, 12 months, was born]. I blow out my hair with a round brush and I'm good. It's not complicated at all and I'm out the door still feeling good."
