Model and social media maven Chrissy Teigen took to Instagram a few days ago to share a very special throwback pic: A first family photo with her husband John Legend and their then newborn daughter Luna.
The sweet shot shows Chrissy lying in her hospital bed, with a very brand new Luna wrapped up on her chest as John looks adoringly down at their baby girl. It's beyond precious.

This isn't the first time we've seen a photo of little Luna, who is now 5 months old. Chrissy and John both regularly post glimpses of their beautiful daughter. This is the first picture the couple have shared from the day of Luna's birth, however. It was definitely worth the wait.
Not that long ago, the first photos of a celebrity's baby would be an elaborately choreographed affair. The set would be perfect, the newborn would be posed, the lighting would be just so. And of course the brand new mom would look nothing short of stunning in full make-up and couture clothes. All of this would be splashed across a 4-page spread in some tabloid, an "exclusive" first look at so-and-so's new addition.
The age of social media, though, has brought with it a different approach. These days we're much more likely to see photos like this one: Real moments, real emotions. I look at Chrissy's photo and I can see what they're feeling. I remember feeling that way myself, in that instant.
