Chrissy Teigen was very open about her struggle with postpartum depression after the birth of her daughter Luna. Now, with baby #2 on the way, the model mom admits that she's worried about having to go through PPD again.
During an appearance at the Create & Cultivate conference in L.A. over the weekend, Chrissy talked about how she's handling her fears, saying, "Do I worry about it with this little boy" I do. But I also know that I feel like when it does happen, if it does, I?m so ready for it. I have the perfect people around me for it. That?s why I really stand for a good core group of people around you."
The first time around, it took Chrissy, who is married to singer John Legend, several months to feel ready to share her struggle with postpartum depression. She was still in the midst of it when she did open up in an intimate essay penned for Glamour magazine. "I had everything I needed to be happy. And yet, for much of the last year, I felt unhappy," she wrote at the time. "What basically everyone around me ? but me ? knew up until December was this: I have postpartum depression. How can I feel this way when everything is so great" I?ve had a hard time coming to terms with that."
