Courtney Stodden's reborn doll has been "surprisingly healing"

Courtney Stodden continues to find unique ways to heal from her miscarriage. After shaving her head as a tribute to the baby she and husband Doug Hutchison lost in July, the 22-year-old has turned to the help of a reborn doll.
"I got a reborn baby based on the advice of my therapist," the reality television star explained to Us Weekly. "Apparently, quite often, these babies are used to help women cope with losing an angel baby whether that be in the form of a miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal loss."
You can check out a video of Courtney, in a pink wig, holding her doll for the first time here.
Courtney Stodden went on to say: "It's been surprisingly healing having him here with me. When I hold him, I feel incredibly calm. He offers a soothing effect that I need at this point in time." "I chose my ?baby? by going online and looking at many different dolls. He stood out to me. I thought the artist did a remarkable job at creating him and I liked how his eyes were closed rather than open," she added. "The ones with those open eyes kinda scare me!?
A look at more reborn dolls, made by Donna Lee Originals.
They're pretty darn lifelike, right" I'm honestly impressed with the craftsmanship.
It's been a fascinating morning for me, reading all about reborn dolls, and though I can't say I'm itching to get one for myself I do hope they help Courtney and others heal.
Have you suffer...
