Dad perfectly sums up the changing station problem in men's restrooms

It's something you never really notice until you have a baby. Then suddenly, they're no where to be found. I'm talking about diaper-changing stations ? or lack thereof ? in men's rooms.
One fed-up father named Clint Smith took to Twitter to address the state of diapering accommodations for dads. And honestly, he makes several excellent points.
Something that?s really bothered me since we had a kid is how few men?s restrooms have changing tables for babies.
It 1) further perpetuates the notion that the burden of childcare should singularly be on the woman 2) assumes that men are never out by themselves with their kids.

"It further perpetuates the notion that the burden of childcare should singularly be on the woman." YES. And answer me this: What about families in which there aren't mothers" Single dads. Gay dads. Grandparents. Not to mention, fathers who are simply out with their children sans the mothers.
My husband frequently takes our three kids out and about without me. Because newsflash: He's a parent. Family restrooms are awesome in these situations. However, if there isn't a family option, to the men's room they go. (You know, where there's probably a 25-percent chance of there being a changing station.) When there isn't one, he's forced to leave wherever her happens to be and change a wet/dirty diaper in the car. I don't know what the weather's like where you...
