Dear strangers, stop making me feel bad about having a fourth child

For some reason, people think they need to invade my personal bubble when I'm out shopping. I am a magnet for people to ask questions or tell their life story. Sometimes it can be entertaining, but sometimes I wish I could just go out in peace. Add three kids plus a baby bump and I feel like a circus show when I'm out. This is my third pregnancy, fourth kiddo (not THAT uncommon) and you'd think I have a line of 25 kids trailing behind me.
When it came to announcing my pregnancy, I was hesitant. I knew what people might be thinking. But looking back at it now, I don't know why I cared so much. It is our decision to add to the family and, frankly, no one else's business. Am I a perfect Mom" No way, but I love being a parent and I do everything I can for my kids. Doesn't that count for something" I feel perfectly capable of raising another kiddo. Hand me a cape!
I think the comments stem from my younger-looking appearance -- THANKS A LOT, GENETICS. Even at the doctor's office, the nurses just assume it's my first child. I had the twins at 25 and now I'm close to 34. Not like I'm super young. Although, does it really matter" Also, the fact that we are a mixed family plays into people's assumptions. I don't look exactly like my kids, so I must be their nanny. Right"
