Did you know you can have an allergic reaction to anesthesia during your c-section

Although I have two children, they were both born via scheduled c-sections, so that's all I know in regards to giving birth. I've never been through labor.
My first c-section went pretty smoothly. I mean, as smooth as someone cutting open your belly and pulling an almost 10-pound human out can be. In fact, things went so well that I never even considered having a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). I couldn't if I wanted to because of health issues, but I was grateful that I was good with the c-section and I didn't feel like I missed out on going through labor and having a vaginal birth.
I went into my second c-section feeling like a champion. I knew what to expect. I was so cocky, y'all. I was laughing and joking around all the way into the operating room. My anesthesiologist was so calm and wonderful as the nurses prepped me to receive my anesthesia. I knew I needed to sit still as he administered the medicine, and I made sure to let him know that I wasn't a newbie. I was relaxed as he put the needle in my spine and helped me lie down on the operating table.
That's when things got weird.
"I feel weird."
The anesthesiologist started to explain what I could expect during the surgery, and as I listened to him, I started to feel panicky.
I wanted to get off of the table, or sit up for just a minute.
