Ding! A sudden epiphany. I was trying to call my mom using the calculator app.
From forgetting words and spellings to more serious things -- like forgetting meetings and deadlines -- this pregnancy brain is hilariously entertaining, but it is actually starting to scare me a little too.
Now, I consider days I am able to get my kids to the proper school on time and fully clothed a win. And, days I can fully dress myself too, bonus! At a recent work trip, this happened. Since I was in a hotel room alone and semi-rested, I can't even blame it on being distracted by my boys.

Don't worry -- I know for a fact I was wearing huge granny panties under that super-long tank.
For some reason, the only thing that has made me feel a tiny bit better about my big-fat-pregnancy-brain flubs is realizing it is normal thanks to other moms sharing their hilarious stories. And, for some reason, pregnancy-brain stories are so much better when they are happening to someone else.
