Dinner in one pan! Baked lemon parmesan chicken & asparagus

This is the best (and healthiest!) dinner I've made so far this spring. It smells great. It looks amazing. It tastes divine. This is the kind of dinner you'd bring to a friend and feel super smug/proud/Martha Stewartish because it's so perfect. And best of all, the whole meal happens in one pan. You get this crisp, crunchy lemon parmesan chicken with lemon parm-kissed asparagus too. While this would be great with some rice, we found we really didn't need it.

One-Pan Lemon Parmesan Chicken
If it's not looking golden and crisp in the last few minutes of baking, turn your broiler on and watch closely! 1 and 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken tenders
1/3 cup flour
1 cup panko bread crumbs
1 cup parmesan cheese, divided
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 lemons (you will use 1/4 c juice and 2 tsp. zest)
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 stick (1/2 cup) melted butter, separated
1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
1 pound asparagus
Optional: fresh parsley, 1 lemon for topping
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a large sheet pan (I used 11x13) with parchment paper or silpat and set aside.
