Disneyland holidays are more festive than ever
by Denise Cortes posted in Life & Home
My family hails from Southern California, so Disneyland has always been in our backyard. I have so many memories of visiting the park as a little girl, as a teenager, and as a young mom with my babies. Now I head to the parks with my older kids. Disneyland is different when your children are older. There are no more strollers to push, no tiny snacks to pack, no diapers to change in the restroom, no little ones to wave to on the Dumbo ride. It's bittersweet but thankfully, the magic is still there.
Now they like to walk around the park independently. Sometimes they like to hang out with mom, but you see, I like to stroll around and take my time, looking at new things -- Disneyland is filled with new discoveries and yummy things to eat.
Holidays at the park are amazing. It's festive. It's sparkling. You can't help but feel the holiday spirit. I am so happy I got to spend the day with my babies at the Happiest Place on Earth while the holidays are in full swing.
