Before you become a parent, it's somewhat baffling when a mom describes their child as being 20 weeks old. Immediately your brain jumps to trying to do the math, while it's simultaneously yelling, "What the hell is with these parent-type people""
Years later, after your own kids are long past the counting-by-weeks stage, you feel a bit the same. But this time you get it. And, you can fondly reminisce back to the time you were also in that stage.
Apparently though, whatever you do, do not wish your child a happy birthday on Twitter unless it's a yearly anniversary of their arrival.
Ivanka Trump just learned this the hard way. She recently tweeted:
