Dr. Brown's makes it easy to move from a bottle to a sippy cup

My third baby is following quickly on the heels of her older sisters: She's crawling earlier, eating sooner, and wants to be part of any activity going on. That means it's getting harder to nurse her if her siblings are anywhere nearby.
She's 9 months old and we've started introducing solids -- well, more accurately, she began slamming her hand on the table and screaming until I would feed her bits from my plate. Though she's transitioning to eating solids, I know she'll still benefit from whatever breast milk I can give her.
Not only is my milk full of the nutrition she needs, it also has antibodies to fight against the germs hitching a ride on my kindergartner each day. My breast milk will be what gets her through the cold and flu season. But she's so busy and distracted by her siblings that it's getting harder to keep her attention long enough to give her a good feeding during the day. That's where I've found Dr. Brown?s 2-in-1 Transition Bottle Kit and Sippy Spouts helpful. She wants to figure out how to make it work so it holds her attention. I've begun giving her bottles with my breast milk and letting her practice the sippy cup version with water.
During this season of transition it's felt like an olive branch between us. I can pump and have that process only take a few minutes rather than trying to get through a frustrating nursing session. She still gets the nutrients and antibodies she needs and she can begin moving ...
