Easy lemon "brownies" for Easter

Ladies (and gentleman). Drop whatever you're doing right now and proceed to the kitchen.
Follow the directions below.
In about 40 minutes, start to finish, you will have the best lemon dessert.
It's not a cake. It's a brownie, with no chocolate. But it's moist and rich with a thick crumb, just like a brownie should be. Who needs chocolate when you have tart lemon"
This is a super easy recipe -- you need two bowls and a pan. A few ingredients, all of which (except maybe lemons) should be in your pantry. Nothing fancy here folks, except the result. And, if you read nothing else, read this: DO NOT SKIP THE GLAZE. The glaze is everything. It's zingy and tart, and you have to refrigerate it so it hardens and adds a tiny little crunch to the top.

Lemon "Brownies"
You MUST use real lemons and squeeze the juice out. Sorry, no substitutes when lemon is the center of attention.
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter, melted and cooled
2 large eggs
1 large egg yolk
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
