Easy weeknight meal: Deep dish chicken noodle pasta
by Lindsay Weiss posted in Life & Home
A really wonderful person made this for me when we moved recently and it was one of those gems I knew I wanted the recipe for. When she sent it to me and I realized it had cream of chicken AND cream of mushroom soup in it, I hesitated just a little to share it with you.
(When you're a food blogger, nothing is more polarizing than using all the artificial ingredients in cream of chicken or cream of whatever soups. It drives people crazy.)
But I'm okay with using it every once in a while, and when it's this good, I figured you might be too. If you're not -- hey, no worries.
Nothing about this dish tastes like it's from a can, I promise. It's once of those hearty, satisfying meals that you love to feed your family after a long day at school/work. It's essentially chicken noodle soup in casserole form, so it pleases almost every palate. Creamy and hearty, this is a perfect dish to make on a weeknight or throw together on the weekend and then just come home from a busy day and BAKE!
