Every woman needs an arsenal of comebacks for rude pregnancy comments

You know when someone says something rude and you're caught off-guard, and you just stand there" And then, three hours later, usually in the middle of the night, you wake up and yell, "Yes! That's what I should have said to them!!"
I do that all the time.
I'm so so smart and snarky at 3 a.m. But I never have a good comeback in the middle of the day. It used to drive me especially crazy when I was pregnant and people would make comments. There was one older man at work who just kept calling me "fatso" when we'd talk. He was (mostly) a nice guy, and I think he genuinely thought he was being funny (because it wasn't true, you see" I was only being called "fatso" because I was having a baby, which is funny. Except, no, it's really not.) And there was the other man who I met once ever when I was nine months pregnant, and who commented loudly, "I know what you've been doing!" Because nothing lightens up a neighborhood barbeque like a comment about someone's sex life. I'd also like to point out that, in 2010, when he said that, he wasn't even right. There are other ways to get a baby in there, thanks.
