What about at 25, or even 30"
I become a parent at 23, and by 25 had the whole shebang: husband, two kids, one dog, and an SUV parked in the driveway of a house the market change left us severely underwater on. The stress was mighty, but though we shouldered all that responsibility pretty darn well I still didn't feel official.
I used to wonder how I would know when I really was adulting. Thankfully, Twitter en masse has stepped up to the plate with a whole host of ways to tell if you're doing it. A peek...
