Fisher-Price recalls 63,000 Soothing Motion Seats for fire hazard

Parents of infants ? as well as expecting parents who have already had their baby showers ? should take note of a new safety recall. That's because Fisher-Price has voluntarily recalled about 63,000 Soothing Motions Seats (in addition to 2,000 sold in Canada) because of a potential fire hazard.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC,) the motor housing of the infant seats can overheat, posing a fire hazard. Fisher-Price has received 36 reports of the product overheating, including one report of a fire contained within the motor housing. So far, no injuries have been reported.
Product description
This recall affects the following products and model numbers (which can be found on the underside of the motor housing): ? Fisher-Price Soothing Motions Seats with model numbers CMR35, CMR36, CMR37, and DYH22
? Smart Connect Soothing Motions Seats with model number CMR39.
The seat bounces, sways, or bounces and sways together. It also vibrates, plays 10 songs and nature sounds, and has an overhead mobile. Affected infant seats were sold at BuybuyBaby, Target, Toys R Us, Walmart and other stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com and other websites from November 2015 through October 2017. The Soothing Motions Seat cost about $160 and the Smart Connect Soothing Motions Seat cost roughly $175.
