When you get bored of JUST PLAIN TURKEY, throw these little sliders together for a meal that feels less like leftovers and more like something fresh and new.
I like to use leftover cranberry sauce as the "spread" on these these, but you could use any spread you have at home -- a more savory garlic, onion or olive spread or, on the sweeter side, a fig or cranberry jam. You can make them in three minutes flat by slicing an entire pan of soft rolls at once, layering the cranberry, turkey and cheese, and brushing the top with garlic butter and sesame seeds. Throw it in the oven and you've got a warm, comforting meal for all your guests.
These also make excellent snacks if you happen to be watching some football after Thanksgiving!
Next-Day Warm Turkey Oven Melts

Make sure to buy the soft rolls that come attached to each other and in a pan (like Hawaiian rolls). That way you slice through 'em all at once and layer everything on fast.
2 lbs. sliced turkey

1 (16 ounce) package soft rolls (I use Hawaiian brand)

6 tablespoons leftover cranberry sauce (or any desired spread)

6-8 thin slices provolone cheese

4 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon sesame seeds
