Have you ever noticed these babies at the end of a film"

Some parents mark the birth of a child with an announcement in the local newspaper, a post on Facebook, or an adorable Instagram story.
Then there are the Disney and Pixar parents, who make a real production of it -- because they have Production Babies.
If you're an eagle-eyed movie fan, you're probably already familiar with Production Babies. They are the children born to anyone involved with the making of a film. You'll see their first names run as part of the credits, usually listed as Production Babies.
However some movies add a spin to it, like the 2011 version of Winnie the Pooh, which boasted "Pooh Babies" in the credits.
I love this trend with my whole heart. It only makes sense that an enormous milestone, like the birth of a child, would be shared among colleagues while birthing a large creative project, like an animated film. This speaks to the deep affection between the people who make these movies happen -- they celebrate each other's families with a "mazel tov!" for all the world to see. The director of Toy Story 3, Lee Unkrich, told the San Francisco Gate in 2010: "If you ask any of us which movie we were making when one of our kids was born, we'll be able to tell you instantly. It's like our family lives are permanently woven into the movies."
That's just like Lin-Manuel Miranda's first child, Sebastian, who will always be immortalized in the Production Babies list for Moana. (Aside: No, I do...
